Proposed Projects for 2008 – GHANA - West Africa

  1.     Health and Healing Fair  In an open air setting, basic health services and education will be provided including the distribution of vitamins and disease prevention literature. Ministry Opportunity : There will be stands and booths for prayer, counseling and healing ministry.

  2.     Trip to the Anfaani Children’s Home   The Anfaani Children's Home is an orphanage located in the Northern Region of Ghana. The goal for this project is to paint the facility and redo the mosquito and burglar proofing of the building. Ministry Opportunity : Demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways to the children and their caretakers

  3.     Complete Feasibility studies on a Mobile Food Processing Plant to process Cassava into shelf stable ‘Gari’ (dry roasted grain) and convert the industrial starch by product into Ethanol for medical and alternative fuel uses.  Ministry Opportunity : Provide a means of improving the local economies by paying a fair market price for their farm output at harvest time and to preserve the food for distribution during the lean season.

 4.     Initial planning/civil works for a Youth Soccer Field at Abokobi.  Ministry Opportunity : Provide employment during construction and a recreational venue for the community with the potential for rental revenue.

  5.     HKI Youth Soccer Day Camp. Ministry Opportunity : Provide a captive youth audience for bible based training in team work, people skills and leadership.
